The concept sounds awesome but I'm not sure $80 is worth risking to find out if it truly delivers better fuel economy and throttle response.
If it does work, I deffinately want a couple.

My buddy uses the intelli-jet from the same company and he absolutly loves it, It adjusts automatically though not like the dial-a-jet but same concept. He rides from sea level to 37oo ft roughly with no jetting changes at all. He also attests to the improved throttle responce.

Although I haven't used a dial-a-jet system myself, I know several people who have used them, and Tempaflow systems on snowmobiles and they love them. I never got into it for my sleds, because if I understand them correctly, I would need to get a set for each cylinder. I'm not real interested in spending $300 just to fine tune jetting on the sleds, especially since I don't race my sleds.
But at some point after I add the last few things to my 350r I want to do, IE extended swinger, and a few other goodies, I think I may eventually give a Dial-a-jet or Tempaflow a try.. It would make re-jetting for different temperatures quick and easy..
If you end up getting one, let us know how you like it on your trike. I'm interested to know.. :)

I have seen alot of people ask about them but not ever met someone personally that has used one. The testamonials on line from other riders are great, its just hard to know for sure how it will work on your own machine. And it would be the cost of a motor if it didnt work as described :O
I have thought about trying one since im still in the process of learning how to fine tune a 2 stroke

Are the 350x's 2 stroke or 4 stroke though? I gotta think they wouldn't work as good on a 2 stroke with the mix being heavier and all. I could see how it would help a 4 stroke and that's what I'm after. I just want smoother acceleration and a bit more get up and go. The 125m needs all the help it can get to move me around. I was also thinking about gettin a 13 tooth front sprocket. Eventually a +4mm piston when I can afford to redo the motor.

wait! which garbage can? I'll give it a try! LOL...

I seriously doubt you will feel any real seat-of-the-pants difference slapping a Dial-A-Jet on your 125m. The main idea behind a Dial-A-Jet/Tempa-Flow setup is to allow a rider to fine tune jetting (particularly on a 2-stroke) quickly and easily for optimum performance. Admittedly, I don't have any experience running them myself, but the vast majority of people I have spoken to about them over the years were using them on high performance sleds. And these guys are true "tuners" out to get the most performance ALL of the time.
IMHO, I wouldn't spend the money putting a Dial-A-Jet on a small 4-stroke. Would I try one on my 350r?? Quite possibly....After I get other more important things done to it.

Not trying to make it a rocket. LOL. Just trying to find ways to make it easier for the machine to haul my fat ass around.

I understand... But in general, factory jetting on a bone stock engine is pretty close (especially on a 4-stroke) unless you are riding at high elevation. Just playing with the jetting on a stock engine really isn't going to net you much in the way of performance gains, especially on a mild mannered machine like the 125m. I stand by my recommendation not to install a Dial-A-Jet on the 125m.. But hey, I could be wrong. If you do end up giving it a try, be sure and let us know how it pans out for ya.. :)
