84 big red valve adjustment

Can anyone give me the step by step for this procedure? I have done my 110 pretty easy but just not sure if it is the same method. Thanks for all help given..

Piston ,TDC,compression stroke. That will be both valves closed. .003 clearance. Post back if you need more than that! Good luck.

the manual (thanks MonroeMike) says .005 clearnace. ??

5 huh? She will clatter,,I do between 3 and 4. 5,you will def hear them ticking. In a bigger engine,,that will knock the valve tips off.

I have to do an adjustment on mine also. Is the only way to to do the rear intake valve by pulling the engine or does someone have a good trick?
