Hi what do you guys think of my idea of putting one of these mufflers on my sons 110. there cheap but it is for a kid and the dual mufflers would look cool, do you think it would work and last for a while or is it a peice of crap?? heres the link http://www.ebay.ca/itm/NEW-ATV-50-110cc-RED-DUAL-PIPE-HEADER-GASKET-CLAMP-KIT-/180692636712?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_210&hash=item2a121ed428....they also have single style if you don't think i would be able to get the double to work but are these mufflers any good? i kinda just want to get a new one cheaply but want it to at least last a while...and do you think i would have to rejet the carb his 110 has a aftermarket hooker header muffler on it now that is all one peice

Thats for a 70 based motor not a 90/110 so it wont be a bolt on deal !!!

On ebay it says it is for a 50-110.....what do you mean it won't be a bolt on do you mean that the holes won't line up when i try to attach it to the cylinder? i figured i would have to adjust the bend in the tube a bit to get it to fit right but that is no big deal also i was looking at the 110 frame and i don't think the dual would work as there isn't a spot to have the pipe run behind the engine to the other side so i might just go with the single that is the same style.....let me know what you meant though as i don't want to buy it if it won't work....and do you have any suggestions as to what to get that would be better then this without breaking the bank

Its a 70 based motor meaning it's designed for that style / size Chinese motor , the atc 90/110 motor is allot bigger and will have a different angle were it comes out of the head . The ad says for a 110 but that's just a big bore 70 motor .

Jardan and DG I believe still sell the correct aftermarket pipe for these so thats your best route unless you can find a good used one .

try this link for a head pipe

http://stores.wholesale-cycle.com/-strse-3485/PIT-BIKE-HEAD-PIPE/Detail.bok

and if you can, try to find a silencer from a dirtbike. I used the ride sight silencer from a 2006 CRF250r

you'll have to bend the head pipe a little bit to fit, however, it is the biggest diameter head pipe I have ever seen for a pitbike
