no an ATC90 axle will not fit, you can run wheel spacers.

You can bolt in the complete 90/110 axle assembly with a couple of hours work. Much stronger than the 70 setup and wider as well.

The search feature won't work for me. What does the "couple hours of work" entail? I'd be interested in this too!

sounds like he means that your basicly just swapping out the rear carriers, axle and all. search is not working for me either 350xer.

Firstly remove all the standard 70 rear end components.
You have to remove the standard 70 carrier. The best way is to get a metal cutting holesaw that will fit neatly over the part of the carrier that protrudes on the outside of the frame. Cut thru the frame and then remove the carrier. (You can use a grinder with a cut-off disc if your'e careful)
On the brake side of the 70 frame, there is a couple of plates spot welded where the 70 brake components go. Drill out the spot welds and peel away the plates. You want to end up with only one thickness of frame plate. This makes the frame exactly the correct inside width to accept the 90/110 carrier. You can then slide in the carrier and mark and drill the three 10mm holes for the carrier bolts. If you want to run the brakes (I don't) you will have to drill holes for 90/110 brake shoe parts.
Its been a while since I have done this mod but if I have forgotten something, its not a big deal to see what has to be done once you have started.

How much wider are you going? What's the cost if you dnt mind me asking?
Maybe you can just have him make two while he's at it.

1 inch on each side is pretty much a waste of time,,,, i have a couple of +4 axles and i wouldn't do anything less...

With an extended standard axle you will still have the pissy little bearings, brakes, rubber mounted sprocket which tends to wear out rubbers and no extra strength.
Each to their own, I suppose.

i also thought the hubs added an extra 1.5 total or is that per side?

why only go 2"? it wont be enough to clear a kick starter and its going to cost just as much as going +4 and as greenhuman said you still have a inferior axle to a 90/110. 400ex hubs will do what you want for around $40 and be easy but to each there own

how much wider do 400es hubs go 1.5 on each side how much off set do offset wheels go i dont want it crazy just enough. i thought 2inched would be enough like a full size quad yea know.
