I'm replacing the entire rear end on my 83' Honda 200e (bought from a member on here;) ) I've bought new bearings/seals and brake shoes since it is coming to me dissembled already. Anyway as the post title states i'm wondering what the o-rings are for between the rear carrier bearings and the seals that are shown in the service manual and parts explosions on parts sites. Are they still necessary since the bearings I got are sealed? Is it a stack-up requirement or was it just an extra "seal' for the bearing?
