Pics of my new to me 85 250sx besides the carb and airbox what else am I missing? I the process of getting carb now and will continue from there! Eventualy will like to restore tank, seat and new meier plastics and what ever else it needs. I already have a nice set of Douglas blue labels for 10inch diameter tire not sure what ones to go with yet. Not yet running but was told would run once I put a carb on it soooo we'll see wish me luck!

Don't forget the boot running from the carb to the airbox.

The handlebar and brake levers are off another trike. The front brake line is way too long, it almost looks like somebody removed the rear brake line and put it on the front. You're also missing the reverse lever, tail light, tool box lid, battery cover, rubber grommets for the seat to sit on, ignition switch & panel, and some other stuff from the handlebar area.

Good luck with your project! It should be a good rider for you. Tracking down parts is half the fun. I've got another box from Service Honda on it's way to me now!

Yeah, and those rear fenders are from an '85 200s. Original SX fenders had a built in trunk, but the Maier's don't. Great solid trike, you'll love it when you're done(except for the turning radius:lol:)

Thanks for the input, I will compile a list of these items and start my searching! As far as the fenders I did not know the originals had a built in trunk prob very difficult to come by. It will shift into reverse so I'm guessing some one has bypassed this switch? I have an 84 200x that I could use the front end from and was thinking I might put the 250sx front end on my 82 200e? Thoughts?

Carb should be in next week! What does anyone think about the GBC Dirt Devils on there? I thought they were good wheels but when I took them of it turns out someone had beaten the crap out of the inside of rim so it would fit over the drum ( and still doesn't all the way)! I have a set o 9 x10 (10 is the diameter) that will fit over the drum nicely but then I will need to get tires, saw some posts that the Kenda Claws were favorable but I am wondering if some rzrs or hole shots wold be lighter and better for trail riding thoughts? Thank you.

That's a good question on the wheels and tires. I'm thinking about replacing mine so I'd be interested in the responses. I'd like to stay as close to stock as possible without screwing up gearing ratio's.

Carb came in last Fri!! Thanks murfman! got it put on and with a little fresh gas she fired up on the 4th kick!! Hoping to have some plastics in about a month if they don't find another home by that time. And I'm going to start a thread in classifieds to list other things I'll be needing. Hopefully I'll find someone that has more than a couple so I don't get killed in a bunch of shipping cost! Once again thanks murfman the carb is working great!
