I have a Yamaha 225dxk that will only idle when it is being choked. No matter how warm it gets as soon as I open the choke it dies. Keep in mind it is not a normal choke system. It is a jet starter choke. Which means it just creates a very rich fuel mixture to start the engine. To me it sounds like when I open the choke it is not getting fuel or the mixture is to lean, :?: but I have tried just about everything. Does any one have any ideas? I would be very grateful for any advice.
