This is probably one of those questions where you ask 10 different people and get 10 different answers, but...... im looking to replace the front tire on a new 250sx that i just got. it has the stock front end. I want to get a kenda front max because in my opinion, it is the best steer tire you can buy but i cant find it in 20,22-11-8.. What are you guys running? post pics if you can.

Front Max is a great choice... I have one on my auto-x. My SX came with a Cheng Shin knobby, but I'll be switching it to the Kenda in the spring.

Or if you don't have the budget to buy/install a 200x front end, then a 10" TRX250 rim with a 23x8x10 tire is a similar effect..

I did this setup with a Bear Claw up front. Gave my SX great turning traction even in mud!!

FIFY :D

I'm a big guy and like the 350X forks over the 200x forks. Skinny front tire is definitely the way to go, even with the stock 250sx fork.

i liek the stock ohatsu but my 2nd chopuse is the front max hands down! and the trail pros are junk for any sort of serrious rider, thier too hard compound and when the grounds frozen they dont grip at all. for a steer tire theier heavy and no gffence thier clumbsyin my oppinion. i have a brand new set in my barn i took off a sx years ago. but thier ok if the ground is loamy and dry.
