ok. i am running the eddie sanders 310 kit, with an fmf gold series pipe. what i have going on is the pipe is rubbing against the rear coolant hose that goes to the head. i have tried to reposition it sevral times. i am loosing my mind here. any one have this issue and how did you all fix it.
note if you have pics i would like to see them, please!!!
HELP !!!!!!!!!
I had the same thing on my bike and it never had a problem. The cylinder is wider than stock so it puts the hose closer to the pipe. I'm not sure how hot the pipe is at that point but mine never burned through. Its a very common problem with BB cylinders.

I have the same problem with my 330 motor. I went to the auto supply store and bought hose insulating wrap (I don't know exactly what it's called). I put two layers over the hose. It has worked well for the past 8 years.

I dented my fmf pipe in a little. The ESR pipe has that area all recessed in so it fits good there.

i dented the fmf in also on my 310, ive since swapped to the esr pipe so no issue. if they would just taper the water fitting the hoses would fit fine, i wonder why they never made one its such a small inexpensive part.

on My Z to prevent this i use another piece of coolant hose and wrap it around the hose where it touches. some hose clamps and its good to go.

I also use another piece of coolant hose and wrap it around the hose where it touches (310 Pro-X kit + FMF pipe).
