Just wondering how you break these in, since with polaris oil injected you just drive it, but with 250r's you do periods. thanks everyone

Run in periods would be a good idea. Make sure to let engine warm up really nice before you go riding around. Don't run alot of high rpms for a while. Make sure you are jetted nice and fat as cool weather and stock jetting can lead to a seize condtion since it will put you a tad on the lean side. And I recommend a nice warm up period so you don't cold seize the engine. It's way more common on water cooled engines, but why take a chance on a fresh top end.

After running once or twice for 15 or 20 minutes at a time, double check the torque on your clylinder head nuts.

ok cool thanks veal, and it always ran rich even in winter so i think im good on that. and im really picky on letting machines warm up, i know some of the people i ride with let it warm up for like 15 sec than take off which is very short, i usualy wait 1 min or so. REBUILDING a yamaha 125 for 100 bucks total is f'in amazing
