cheap coolness!!

picked up this sweet bell helmet tonight!! saw it on craigs for 10.00!! i know they can go for decent money on ebay, but i just thought it was awsome, and want to hang it in the shed alongside the arai! things in great shape, the inside does show some wear, but its not all nasty! it was an hour away, but the guy drove 20 mins to meet me by the highway, then he was surprised when i threw him a few extra bucks!! poor dude lost his job, had to move back upstate to live with ma, and is selling all his crap. i thought he might have some other cool offroading stuff, but he said he bought the helmet for 50.00 awhile back to use when he rides his :lol:scooter:lol:!! has a bunch of late 80's monte ss stuff for sale cheap. guess he was into those when times were better! good dude, he just wanted to talk!! I had to jam though as i was on a covert op from work!:naughty: i think my radio is only good for 5 miles:lol: hey man i had to have it! tough to score things at times when you work 2nd shift, i've lost several items over the yrs because of it!!(probably a good thing)! I also got some thin binders for my manuals so they stay in good shape! Been organizing a ton of crap lately, and trying to get my shop all situated!

I love those old helmets. I have been wanting one as well.

Good idea with making z copy of the manual and using it on the binder. I think I might steel that.

I hear ya about working 2nd shift! what i'm working now. went from days, to 2nd, to 3rd shift (my least favorite) back to 2nd shift. I just wanna be back on days.

Absolutey Awesome Rory!! I love it! You do know that liner pops right out!? Throw it in the washer,,better than new! I sold my Red one,years ago,,,What I would give to have THAT back... Kept my JT Googles and face mask though : ) Great score!!

Nice score Aldo! That thing is in great shape! I got mine on eBay a couple years ago for $20 plus shipping. When the package arrived I was surprised to see the seller had thrown in a pair of old school Oakley goggles aswell! I actually wear mine when I ride my T3 but I'm thinking about putting it up because on the last dune trip someone knocked it off of my seat and it fell in the gravel parking lot and added a bunch of scratches.

I didnt even try this one on, i think its a medium, i guess if your gonna wear one of these old school helmets, the dunes would be the place to do it!! I wish i still had my old flourecent bieffe that i bought in 91!! tatool, i also copy the binding label, cut it out, and slide it in the ends of the binders, so when there on the shelf you can just pull the one you need!

No it came with the visor and a cool Kawasaki and Oakley decal. Its actually pretty comfortable, I think its a medium too. I left my camera at my friends house so I will get pics later. I also had an old Bieffe! It was white and blue and matched my 92 250X.......... damn I miss that helmet (and bike too kinda lol). And yes 007 mine has the cold weather plugs:beer

I still have my Moto-4 from the old days, and my old Hallman riding boots. I also have a set of almost new JT gloves still in the bag. Maybe worn once.. I can say that I can wear a medium Moto-4 and have to wear a large "new" helmet.. I think it's the amount of padding used these days.. The helmets look great guys..

I had a Blue Moto 4 and loved it, I junked it after I used it while bouncing my head on the road at a 90 MPH wreck on a 85 XT 600 years ago, GREAT HELMET

In the 80's I had the same arai red helmet, but always wanted a moto 4 from bell.

Very cool helmet I have been looking for a old one like that for some time.

My '88 or so Bieffe saved my life after my "R" decided to land on the back of my head. It smashed the face mask part into my face and I came away with only a broken nose and 20 stitches. Without that helmet it would have crushed my head like a grape.

I still have my Alpinestar boots from the '80's that I still wear to this day.
