I got up yesterday morning and it looked awesome outside, so I booted the boy out of his bed, told the wife I was gone and she said good. Decided to take the trikes for a rip. Usually this time of year there would be 4 feet 0f snow around my area. We were not sure how far we would get up the mountain. First trike started third pull, second trikes pull cord ended up detached and in my hand. So right away I was pissed. Both trikes are 83 big reds and the electric start works on both if I wasn't so cheap. Both need batteries. After a few choice words, we decided to bomb start the old beast. Put it in 4th gear, lifted rear end up and ran about 5 steps, dropped it and the trike fired right up. We ended up riding for hours and even up high we were able to get around. I forgot how much I enjoy winter riding and now I think the boy is hooked on trikes. He said he will never give up dirtbiking, but now understands why I keep these old 3 wheelers around.

Sounds like a great time out riding, And with a little quality time. Can't beat that. Sounds great!

We got maybe a dusting of snow. I was really hoping for at least a couple inches so i could take off on the 250sx.

6 dollar trickle charger at H Freight?
I'm scared to leave it on very long but they say it's a float charger and can be left on all winter.

Not sure why but all my batteries are happy.

so? where do we ride in BC?
What kind of paperwork do you need?
Off road permits, insurance etc?
