Yamaha yt 175 trouble shooting

First post here. So i traded an old mossberg pump for my new 1983? yt175. I cleaned out the tank, put new fuel line on, thouroughly cleaned carb, blocked off the oil injector. It will run and idle, (it kinda seems like the idle screw may be a little far in but i really dont know). When i take off the bike will go, but bogs pretty bad. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.

I would say adjust the idle screw a couple times and see what that does. If that helps or not report back to us.
