does anyone know the thread size the front axle is? mine are pretty funky and would love to retap the fork and chase the threads on the axle with a die.... looks like the pitch is 1.5 but i don't have a tap or die that big... thanks!

A good used bottom fork leg is prob cheaper than a new tap and die that big .

great, i'm sorry it took so long. I pretty much have to wait till something breaks to justify in my own head that i need to spend the money. I'm sure you can relate, kids, family ect. If it doesn't work out... got any 200x parts?

sorta... i was assuming you did. I did source a tap/die set... $69. I'm thinking it may be a good investment now that I'm hooked on these things. But... what do you have in the way of 200x forks/axles?

Would have to look for the parts . I should have the threaded side down tube and a good front axle . I believe the 250r front end is sold but its not 100% yet .
