Tri- z project is underway

Motor was sent out.......gotta get some cash down to enginge man. Motor needed quite a bit. In the meantime......I decided to start cleaning up the swingarm. Found 2 broken cap bearing washers, one bearing cap missing, both chain adjustment pivot bolts stripped, and 2 different size chain adjuster bolts in adjuster brackets?? Tapped pivot bolt holes, tapped adjusters and made myself some 3/8" adjuster bolts. Rear bearings are brand new......all else even seals looked great! Gonna get a a few new things for it anyway while I search for some shocks for a Frankenshock build. More to come....slowly but surely Forgot to mention its has all balls swingarm bearing kit. Any idea where to get just the 2 washers? Needle bearings seals and caps are still new. No damage to them. Those are pretty thin washers? May have to buy a complete new kit?

Sounds to me the motor guy needs some cash Big....Crazy's gonna get it to him and I bet after the parts come in Bingo Bango it's done. Crazy if your going to get your seat restored by those who did the Twisted X. I wouldn't wait till the last minute, tis the season. The line is getting long and with lots of projects getting started with other board members. It's just better to get it down there 3-4 months prior to finish date. Not that it might take that long but giving them time and not trying to be the RUSH guy...well helps ease the build. Can't wait to see your finished product as my BigBore is going on 5yrs now. 3yrs of which I collected parts and goodies the rest is waiting on blast/paint/assembly. My motivation is at a low point and I'm not getting any support for build time from Mama and the kids. Yeah I'm slacking bad...My motor man actually was giving me the business last time we spoke. I think he's ready hit me with a pipe wrench if I don't get the show on the road. Goodluck with this one!

Nice...i just sent out my top end to the shop to get done..got my frame powder coated,restoring the whole thing..costs alot more money then i budgeted

Yordo They always do...what I've had a hard time swallowing is shipping costs. I think the majority of the stuff I've aquired shipping is equalivant to the cost of the parts. I've gotten LOTS of help and killer deals from other board members here to offset the shipping...The UPS guy asked me when a frame dropped what it was for. I explained you're my silent build partner and were building a trike....I think he wants to take it for a spin when were done.

Very reasonable......exactly as I thought basically. I just told him I would get down there after the holidays to hand him cash vs. credit card thieves......Kiser is sucking up all his shop time I guess???:D:p:lol::wondering......right Kyle!:D
