85r needs a new shock or a rebuild i know what a good rebuild is gonna cost, Will a trx shock fit? if so what mods does it take to get it on there. I know the hose length is longer..... thats not a problem.
Thanks

I think it should be fine but I would say an 86 or 87 TRX is the most likely to be a trouble free fit. I have the same Mugen rear in my 85 as two friends have in their 86's.
Looks to take alot of screwing around to make it work.

The head of the TRX shocks are wider where the top bolt goes threw and the bottom bolt hole is bigger.

Whats an average price range? Seal head, seals, clean out, fresh fluid and nitrogen......
I believe the TRX spring is also about an inch shorter, not sure about the rate though.
