200x Motor Swap?

I just got a 86 200x and im already wanting to do something to to it even though it needs nothing :wondering

What other 200-250 cc motors will fit in there with little or no modifications?I see alot of xr200 xr250's on craigslist for cheap and was just curious if those or any others would be fairly easy to switch?.I do have access to a welder if needed.And if there is any gain in a xr200 vs 200x motor?

Dont swap that beautiful engine. Mod it.
Do a high compression piston, and a cam out of an xr200r. and you will be rippin!

You are prettly limited on those 86-87 200x motors performance parts availability wise, and I dont think any other motor will bolt right in. I know the xr 200 wont go in there withought a lot of modificatons, but will bolt into the 83-85 200x with no real issues except the kicker. I agree with the above, just build the motor up with the best parts you can get.

Its been bored .60,Wiseco Piston,ported and polished,14 tooth front sprocket,and DG exhaust.I have a mild cam from Webcamz on the way too.I pulled the motor out to put the cam in and I am going to send the side covers off to be polished by Gkingpolishing and wanted something to have in there till I get everything done that way I could ride it some this winter and have a back up engine when I switch them back....but from what you guys are saying,I will just hold off on riding it until everything is finished....I can wait I think lol.
