ok people, i have my axcaliber rear axle coming (i hope, ordered it before thanksgiving, still don't have it yet) and i have been doing a bunch of stuff to my trike for ice racing.

i have found out that my rear hubs splines are prety much well shot. so i need to know what other years will fit onto the splines with the same stud pattern for the rim. will the 300ex,400ex and 450r hubs fit? that will give me a +4 with the axle and about another 1" per hub if they work.

thanks !!!

Nothing you listed will fit.

Your basically stuck with either 350x or TRX 250r hubs or 85-86 ATC hubs.

I'm pretty sure you are incorrect, SWIGIN. Many of the hondas have the same axle shaft size/ spline count. I'm fairly certain 400ex hubs will work and will add an inch or two in width.

Well, you can think that but you'd be wrong....lol

All hondas are 24 spline exept for the 350x and 85-89 250r which is 25.

And by all Hondas I mean all that matter...lol

the only hubs you can use are 85/86 350x and 85-89 trx/atc 250r. Yes, most honda's use the same spline pattern, except those 2 models(types). I have 83/84 250r axles, 86 200x axles, had 86 350x and have several 85-89 250r axles(sprocket hub on 85 is different). I think I know what I am talking about. I have 83-85 200x rear hubs, 86 200x rear hubs, 83/84 250r rear hubs, 350x rear hubs, 400ex rear hubs and many 85-89 250r rear hubs. 350x and 85-89 250r are the only ones that different. I also believe the early 250x's used the same type hubs are 350x and 85-89 250r.

well if you go to dennis kirk, it says that the trx300 and a couple others will fit. that is exactly why i asked , so dennis kirk is wrong. that is what i needed to know.

No need for me to relax, you haven't seen me excited yet...lol

I just hate when you answer a question then someone that don"t really know what the right answer is chimes in.......just ticks me off.

i tried to put 400ex hubs on my friends 250r and they did not fit but they did on my 200x, just to chime in :w00t:

Thats because everything from a 90 all the way to a 450r (and maybe more) is 24 spline exept for the 350x and 85-89 250r. They are 25 spline and are the 2 main odd balls.
