Ive decided to take a brake from ridin those dirty four wheelers and start my trike back up again. With the bacl end off and then engine out Im not sure how the motor mount and the rear shock go in. Both the clymer and shop manual seem to be fairly dusty in this area. The shock is to wide to fit in the frame mount or the engine mount:wondering. I need help badly.

Have an assistant help you. Place the engine in the frame, and put in the swingarm bolt through the frame, motor and swingarm like it should go. You should now be able to see how it goes together, unless you are missing some pieces? Why was it apart anyway?

The engine/shock mount goes vertical, with the narrow end at the top and oriented to the rear. The top of the mount bolts to the frame bracket that also supports the front of the airbox. The front of the shock bolts to the mount holes just under that. The swingarm pivot bolt goes through the tube in the mount, the other 2 holes in the mount (front and bottom) are for engine mounting bolts. The Clymer manual has a pretty good diagram of the shock linkage.
