Looks like it is mostly there. Did you get a rear fender and seat? If not be prepared to spend a bit for a seat.
its complete.

Seen a boost bottle in the box. Is the swingarm extended?
i will know on the swinger come tomorrow when I start tearing into it some. The cylinder was replaced with a OEM stock bore one some time back (according to the owner) has killer compression (by feel) I will know more once i crack into it some tomorrow. He did not have the seat or rear fenders, so I actually got this for 200.00. I will be ordering seat pan from DC and I will more than likely have MrsMosh hook me up with a seat foam and cover. Fenders will be replaced with Maier (front anyways) and I will hunt down some OEM ones eventually for the rear. watch for progress is about all I can say once I start tinkering with it.
okay, got into the swinger today, and i do believe its been extended 3.5 inches. I will know exactly how far once i know the stock length from eyelet to eyelet, but the welded in section is 3.50 inch.

and here is what I hope it to look like once im finished. please pay no mind to the very crappy paint studio rendering, it was a quicky and only to give me ideas what I want to do to this thing. The restore/customizing starts monday.

i saw this on craigslist!
this wasn't listed on craigslist that i know of. I haven't decided whether i want to swap the forks or not. I may just keep it stock and as a trail trike and for icefest etc etc. I don't intend to get this thing airborn at all so it should be fine as it is.
As for the gold/white, I think it will look killer once finished. I have all the white low and high heat powders ready at the shop, the low and high heat gold powders and new white Maiers on the way. I will hopefully havew the fundage to have Mrs/Mr mosh hook me up with a matched seat cover after the year changes. Gonna be tough as Shortline is going to be getting my 200x cylinder and head for some portwork, valve work and then a torquer cam from Powroll is going in. I am still looking for a Bassani exhaust for it. If i can't find one by spring I am going to go ahead and put a DG Krome on it until I find one. Also on the plate is a pair of 350x buildups and a '83 200 I am fixing as a rider. So alot going on but I will be as swift as I can with this R.

I cant help but say it those forks and fender look like they came off of a ytm 225 to me, however that may have been the style of the early 250r's
as far as I know, they are all stock. I have 2 other 82 front ends for the 250r and they are identical, only not as nice of shape.
Christmas morning was good to me. The wife found and got me original red fenders in almost brand new condition with the decals still intact and minty looking. She also bought me a rear bearing set, OEM NOS bars, and grips, and a few other little odds n ends, like NOS OEM gold wheels OHTSU tires for the rear, and a NOS OEM front hub.

Your wife seriously deserves a medal!
yeah my wife is great. she tolerates my large groups rides that start at my house every saturday and most sundays all year round, AND she even makes us coffee...lol Cattledog can contest to that.
picking up another donor/parts machine for this today for extra parts for 150.00 GREAT christmas so far..lol
scored me a brand new never been installed, wrapped in original plastic, a 1982 honda atc250r factory replacement seat cover...found in hidden in the dust and dirt at Batavia Motorsports up here while I was hunting down to see if they had anymore of the hondaline ATC covers for a buddy of mine. I bought 7 of them, was hoping they had 1-2 more....outta luck, but scored the seat cover...happier than a pig in sh*t ( i mean Obama's House)
oops...got it for 29.95 + tax.

Nice man. I miss my 81 250r. Was a real fun project. Learned a lot on that build. Amazing how stuff like that is still out there. I would love to dig into the back of our local dealership parts dept.
I actually got real lucky at this shop. OEM NOS levers and cables, headlight bulb, seat cover, gas cap, hubs and hub castle nuts,OEM decal sheet, and bunch of other goodies, all new NOS oem stuff that just got forgotten. I also bought 3 Hondaline ATC covers. He has 3 more on hold for me and a pair of NOS OEM rear rims. He stated "let me look, we used to have a new gastank, but I haven't seen it in a few years" got my fingers crossed...lol

finally got the color i want for the engine/swinger/rims/triples/bars/gas cap
tried my hand at polishing tonight....step 1...before and after...different covers but were similar condition. ( don't mind the streaks, I haven't even wiped the residue off yet...got too excited and wanted to show it off..lol) I have 2 more steps to go, 1200 grit, and a final jewlers buff, and it should look like a mirror. next thing I have to figure out is how to get the compound away from the lettering where it built up..lol

(Both of these covers will be going to support a local business, Gking Polishing, next weekend to be done correctly. I only tried on these to figure out how to touch up the lips on my jeep rims)

Nice job on the polishing!

is that a 488 mugen i see there? or is just the 360? im almost positive it a 488 by the head gasket and the size of the bore
92mm bore the 360 was a 80.995mm bore im tols this is the 500 kit, so 488 seems that it might be correct.

Where the feck did you get the big bore Mugen from?? Awesome!
Post some pics of the privateer zuki!!!
stud...I will when I am ready to start on it...lol I know there are a crapload who want to see it. I found another very similar in Nebraska I intend to go chase down when in Illinois in 2 months....long trip but worth the find. I picked up 4 mugen kits locally and a crap load of other goodies...IE" dg heads, nasa axles, etc etc, a 4 speed 1st gen bottom end, which is the engine that housed this BB mugen. I even got the frame it was in..lol
