lookin good!!!!, but now that i see the pics after i replied to your other post about the tire problem, your axle seems weird, can you do me a favor and take close up pics of the end of the axle (mounted) on the side where the plate with 4 bolts is?, and the other side where the spacers are, it appears as though your axle is in to far, on the end of the axle where its got the 17mm socket can you see the entire part where the socket attaches, or does some of it go under the plate?

when its time to get a front fender get an 85-86 250r front fender they look 10x better and they fit perfectly.

actually, I did a buy it now for this head, I was still contemplating finding another in better shape than this one.

It's coming out awsome. The DG heads are cool. Did it up your compression? My friend had one and it worked well. I thought I remember you saying you were going to ice race it. Are you? If so, you may want to find out if you have two piece springs in your forks. If not, you may want to find a set of srpings from an 85R. It makes lowering your bike easier. What does the "dogbone" in your rear suspension look like. I wonder if you can use an adjustable one from a 86-89 R to lower it. (This is if you plan on racing it though)

Looking good so far! Are you going to buy a new rear axle also?

no new parts that I dont need. I have already dumped enough into this thing, next step is to get it running and driving again, then MABEY pretty it up more. My only regret is I did a crummy job on the frame, so I will probably tear it down and do it over next summer. This time, I will powder coat the frame.

Glad to see you picked an air cooled R, every body does the resto's on the liquid cooled models, very nice work, looks great.
