So it's not the brightest light in the world, nor is it easy to find a mounting location using the included brackets, BUT it does put out a lot more light than a 55w incandescent bulb.

Camera is crappy I know, but that is one, 110mm work light from DDM Tuning:

I plan on buying another one for a dual light setup. From the looks of things it's totally acceptable for riding at night, lot better than the stock headlight, and at just shy of 1 amp of current draw (website says 1.25 amps, I measured about 0.98 amps). Even at high speeds it seems like it's appropriate, and it's just one light!! Two should be even better, although it's not a spot light so much as it is a directional flood light.

For $35 you can't go wrong, not to mention it's only around 1 amp of current draw at 12.9v. DDM Tuning does have higher output lights but these work great. Just thought I would share my findings.

Nothing special, and nothing is permanent for now (hell it's even wire nutted into the harness  ).

Still trying to figure out a good place to mount it. May have to bend up the mounts they included to get it to fit.

When I get some free time i'm going to try and make a clean harness to install, instead of using lots of tape and zip ties
