Anyone have pictures of a Tecate with 20x11x10. Can't decide whether to keep the stock size or go with the 20's.

What kind of riding do you do? I highly recommend 20's.

I believe so.

20's would be the way to go. The only thing with the Tecate is, the swing arm is so short that they tend to look a little goofy once you replace the 22's with 20's. So much so to me that I instantly cut my swing arm and extended it as soon as I put the 20's on there.

I don't know off the top of my head, but didn't the 84/5 have 20's stock? I know the 86/7 did. The 84/5 tires are more like balloons too and help with the suspension imo.

Somewhere along the way, the previous owners put an 86/87 swing arm on it.

I have to check my service manual, but I thought 22's were stock.

Very good. You should be all set then!

22's are stock on the A1/A2. I'm pretty sure they were stock for the B1/B2 as well.

They are like balloons and do help with suspension. The only time I have found 22's to be beneficial on a Tecate have been in the really rocky trails we run in New Hampshire.

Definately 20s" stock on a B1/2.

Kawi put the 20's on the 86/7 for a reason(as an improvement along with the rest of the bike) so I hope that helps you make up your mind, after looking around the 84/5 did come with 22's. This should have been an easy one because the 84/5's had a lot of teeth on the rear sprocket compared to the 86/7.
