Ok guys i finally bought a DG exhaust for my 84' i put it on and looks awsome. i heard and have been told that i should get it Jetted. if this is true let me no PLEASE!! i dont no anything about jetting so im prob. gonna just have it put in the shop. i called already and they want 100 bucks not including the jet kit so i asked mama to put it in the shop for me as a gift for Xmas. if anyone has any info on the jetting please let me no i live in southern cali and i take my bikes out near Barstow cali to ride its the High Dezert so im guessing the jetting will have to go off the riding area and climate Rite?

Here are some pics of the "R" has come along way from when i first got it.

It is very easy to change jets takes me maybe 5min. If your completely stock except for the exhaust you should go up 1 or 2 jet sizes is what i have always been told or read.

Man, Dezert that's a nice bike. Now I gotta see if I can out do you. As for the jetting, I would check on doing that myself. The price they quoted you seems high as heck, although I have nothing to compare it to. I'm just saying for the amount of work involved.

Good luck!
