I finally got time to fire up the x this morning. Runs awesome. This one was redone 3-4 years ago and put into storage (with gas still in it):(. That really sucked cleaning the carb but ol mean green really did the trick on that. The only thing left to take care of is the rear brake needs rebuilt and i need to at least get some decals for the tank/ rear fenders maybe.

I have purchased a few add on parts from a couple board members here like the wider foot peg kit and soon I will have a skid plate coming from tapper. Also the kick start cover from jeswinehart. I am happy with the outcome of both the add on parts. Thanks to both of them for making a great product.

I also got rid of the oversized turf busters(thank god).

Is it cheaper to rebuild the rear brake master or just buy a new one? Time has not been on my side lately and if it takes awhile or is a pain in the azz to rebuild it, i would probably rather just throw a new one on from ebay. http://www.ebay.com/itm/REAR-BRAKE-CALIPER-REBUILD-TRX250X-87-92-ATC350X-85-86-/370415873773?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item563e81aeed

Also thinking about installing stainless brake lines. I am sure i can find them cheaper than these?? http://www.ebay.com/itm/380336934164?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

Is the rear master seized up? If it is it would be easier to get a new one. The link is for a caliper, and you said master, which one do you need? Or both?

They don't sell kits for rear masters. Some of us convert to 450R masters.

K + L makes a good rebuild kit; There are a few brands floating around......
