getting my 250r ready for snow

I finally got my swing arm on and my brother put my 200X hubs,rims and tires on to make my 81 250R ready for the snow. What do you guys think?

Its an aftermarket tank but I don't know who makes it. I was told that it was factory honda racing tank, but I don't really beleave that. This bike is far fom stock.

Has anyone tried dune tires in the snow? How'd it work?

Dune tires are good in thick fluffy snow. Ice and road/gravel and its horrible.

I bought a set of AMS Sidewinders for $47. I plan on making it to the dunes someday but also thought I'd give them a try in the snow since they were so cheap.

Sand paddles work great in snow, but it is very hard on them. I wouldnt use a set like you care about or like. 4snow tires are really about the best due to the grip and size.
