View Full Version : TRI Z 250 how much tranny fluid???

i just got my tri z 250 and it runs perfect i just have been doing a toon up on it, pressure washed the whole thing flushed the radiaters new plug and now im going to change the tranny fluid how much should i put in itounce i drain it and what shoul di use for tranny fluid in it. last night i had to quickly mix up soem anti freeze for the beast case it was going to get below freezing.

if you go to 3wheelerworld home page and go to specs it tells you there. i think its like 1.5 or so quarts. you can just use normal motor oil 5wt or so dont go too heavy otherwise your clutch wont disangage prop. i heard mix opinions about using regular tranny fluid in it. there was a post somewhere about it but im tired and want to get to bed. good luck and post some pics of it.
Take out the little screw on the side, add oil until it comes out the screw hole.

Umm Tranny Fluid? As in Auto car tranny fluid.. I would use soem oil, not fluild...
