It will never get old to me. I just find it so funny because I used to look at trailpro's when I was a kid and think to myself "What the hell kinda bozo tire is that?" Fast forward almost 15 years and I find a group of people who have always thought the same thing. It says a lot for the way trikers think.

Well said my buddy and I had 250r's in high school in 1990 and his had trail pros. I remember drag racing him on the paved road all the time and he could always stop better and it made a hell of a howel!!:D. Ahh them were the days mullets, neon shoe laces ridding 250R's and working on them listening to ACDC and Metallica. Life sure was simple.

lol, like new yup.... never fails. they r always like new cuz they never wear. honestly they really suck, if they take u anywhere then just about any tire will take u to that "anywhere" they r so heavy u r losing power trying to turn them, then add the 10 pounds each of earth that gets stuck in between the lugs. there r MUCH better tires out there.

if your lucky, you can find the Bushwacker which is the identical tire as the TP but 15LB lighter & a hella alot softer. I have one of each on my 200s & its terrible conbination. The softer tire has more air in it to compensate the heavier one. It's a love it but hate it relationshp. Fabby in the house.

The only way to remove a trailpro from the rim after it has been seated... Is to buy a new rim.

Chuck Norris once met a Trailpro. both agreed that they should never fight each other, as universe ending paradoxes might ensue. An immovable object cannot meet an unstoppable force in battle.

There are no "new" Trailpros. They are merely recycled and re-sold.

I have a Brand new set still with the nubbies on them,
mounted on 3 lug split rims.

Maybe I'll go take a picture so Everyone can have a good laugh.

After all, I'm surely supposed to be doing something productive.

Making people laugh is a good start.
brb

Maybe they're like the 3 bolt Fender Strat necks everyone made fun of and will be worth
something someday.
How about a base for holding an umbrella?

so...to review, It's safe to say I had a trailpro of a time with my 85 cold start carb issue?

I got a free set of trailpro's and am running them on my 350x.

They are okay for gravel roads and light sand. Thats it.
The instant you touch mud, they fill up and you end up going nowhere.
I tried to go through a small patch of mud and came out brown, while my dad with his maxxis all traks went right through.

So my 2cents, if theyre free then what the hell. But if you have the choice to purchase them for intent of riding with them, NOOOOO stay away.

When I was in highschool the gym teacher used them as the bases for volleyball nets
