Alright well I aint been on here in a while because some knuckle heads aggervated me... and 3wo didnt rly have as much people for help as here. But anyways I got me a new truck while I was gona and fixin to sell my nissan frontier 4x4 lookin to get 5k for it and the BB value is 6.3k. But anyways I been lookin around for a while and sold my 82 185s, found me a badass 2009 rancher 420 4x4 EFI for $2700 that one of my buddys have and hes holding it until I get the money. But I found me a 86 350x in prestine condition for $1600 so im hung up here. also i will only get about 2800 for the truck because my mom is taking the rest of the money to pay for my sisters college. also I got in a bad wreck on my 87 200x while I was gone. doin about 40mph on the back wheels and i went side ways and started flipping down the road. totaled my handle bars. bent my axle and my rims. but i jumped up and walked away... my gf was watching and I had no helmet on. me and my 200 did 4 rolls togeather before i bailed. But anyways back to the 350x I was wondering and im prety sure I can. Will I be able to hang with my buddys 02 400ex pipped?? Also im on the phone with my gf so sorry about the bad grammer

lol Ik I think I learned now... I just layed there in the middle of the road for second thinking about how lucky I was... had road rash all over my arms and ripped the butt out of my good camo jeans... had road rash on my butt... It sucked!! Question was will the 350x hang if not out run a pipped 400ex?? it has a pro circut pipe on the 400ex.

Never tried running anyone on a 400ex with mine.. Alot of new technology in the design of quad that the old school trike won't have. I think the quad would triumph..sorry to say.

And to think, 87 200X's are one of the most beautiful, not to mention rare, trikes made. Those who have, so easily shame those who wish.

I'd suggest buying a Hover-Round for a while, get used to all that crazy powerband, then try triking again.

Nice 350X though, I'd love to have her sitting in my shop.

you ask me id get the trx420 if its mint way newer, trikes are money pits. if the 420 is like the older foremans its not gonna need much maintenance or break for a long time

Yeah, I loved my 86 to death, I'd put the 87 aside, get a new ride, and put some tender lovin' care into it piece by piece. Then in a few years you can show your kids Daddy's old beater.

Then they'll look at it in horror and ask why it doesn't hover, or is jet propelled or whatever the next thing is.

350XJEDI

plus the quad when totaled is not so hard to replace ,then a rare trike . the quad might be better for you

Firstly, riding a wheeler on pavement=bad idea. Wheelers aren't made for running on pavement and handle like crap unless set up for pavement. If you must ride on a paved public road to get to your riding area, don't be a public menace about it. Take it slow and easy so as not to draw unwanted attention to yourself.

Secondly, raising Cain when riding on pavement=worse idea. People who already hate powersports in general just LOVE seeing people riding ATV's on the road where it is usually illegal. Riding like a maniac doing stunts and whatnot just aggravates them that much more.

Thirdly, riding a wheeler on pavement, raising hell, and not wearing a helmet is the Acme of foolishness!

Seriously man, if you nearly killed yourself on your 200x, then getting that 350x is a bad move! Fix your 200x and master THAT FIRST. Then look at upgrading.....

Wear your friggen helmet! For cripes sake, a football player can get a severe concussion through a padded football helmet at just the speeds human feet can produce. What do think is going to happen if your melon smacks pavement, a tree, or anything else at 30, 40mph, or even faster??!! Just had a 16 year old high school football player in a town near me DIE from a concussion he suffered during a game. No dirty hits on the play either......... Use your brain, or I guarantee you the way you say you ride, you WILL end up seriously hurt.... or worse!

Not trying to preach, but I just hate reading about people dying over something as dumb as not wearing a helmet when riding.

agree, stay with the 200, grow a brain , wear a helmet, or get a bicycle

No, raising hell, riding on pavement helmetless doesn't make you a newb....Just a fool.

By the sounds of your own account of what happened, you have clearly NOT mastered your 200x..

But I remember when I was 17..... I knew everything too.

Done now....... Twitch is right.

I dont have a thing against you but I can't imagine why you had problems here before or why on .org they were less than helpful. I know your 16(almost 17) and know everything but you really don't. I wish at your age I had access to the knowlege gathered here on this site.(even though at 16 I knew everything) Point is you don't know everything and you won't get much help from anyone here with your attitude.

I think instead of wasting money on a helmet to look at just make whatever you are riding faster and ride it without a helmet like you want. Good luck!!! Maybe you will learn a thing or two that is well over due! When in doubt, give it more throttle!

You know those times when you see someone, and you instantly realize that they make your entire generation look bad. I'm 16 as well, and I have the common sense to know that this whole thing is ridiculously foolish.

That's like a kid jumping from an 80cc, to a 490 because he mastered the 80........

Ride, ride as hard as you want with no brakes, and no helmet.
