what forks will work?

what front forks will work on a 85 250r? i think mine is bent and iff i can get ahold of a parts guy i might beable to get a set of forks in good shape, and some other parts i need

'85 and '86 ATC250r only. 1st and 2nd gen forks were different..... And just in case you are wondering, 350x forks won't work either. Too small in diameter.....

Also, I hear tell that Dirtcrasher has straightened forks for members. Might be worth a try to contact him and see if you and he can work something out.

i got a press overat my grampas shop i didnt know if it was possible

I haven't tried it myself yet. But I have heard that with a descent press, a dial indicator and a little finesse, one can straighten trike forks.

If you have the tools and were planning on buying some forks anyway, what do you have to loose to try?
