I would like to build a flat track atc like alot of you guys do with your 70s w/ pitbike motors, but with a little different twist. I like the size of a 90/110 better, but I know you can't just bolt up a built motor to these. My question is, can I take an 83-84 atc110 and bolt up an atc70 front wheel, and then turn down atc70 hubs for the flat track go kart wheels? I like the longer wheelbase better, as I wont be the only one riding it and putting an inexperienced person on a tiny 70 with 12~15 horsepower isn't the brightest idea. I'd like your thoughts and comments on this, as well as pics of any flat track 70s, 90s, and 110s, as they're just plain cool

i would use golf kart front tires all around they slide like crazy and they wont make your trike look gay like a lifted truck with small winter tires

I think the main question is, how crazy do you want to get? Mainly it's a matter of money and what you have available. Do you have a stock frame or aftermarket frame? What kinds of parts do you have readily available at your fingertips? What kind of budget do you have available. If you like the low look and have an atc70 at your fingertips, you could always use your atc70 wheels and source tires to fit. You can source go kart tires and go kart wheels and fit them to your hubs, but that may take some sophisticated or creative modifying. The look will accomplish alot. As for the engine, you can build a stock 90 engine with a big bore piston and a nice cam and it will have more power than a stock engine for sure. Then you can source your parts for a stroker crank and always rebuild from there. Try and make the project fun. Most assuredly make the project safe. Best of luck and keep us in the loop as to what you are doing.

I have over $800 in mine and I am not done spending yet. I stretched out the frame and put a 140 in it. Link is in my sig line. I am going to look for some shifter kart tires later down the road.
