I'm testing video links for my web page:
http://home.comcast.net/~durchanek2/atctrxvid1.mpg
It needs some work. I'll have to figure out how to brighten the picture. This is an old video, but the picture quality declined when I uploaded it. Anyone have any ideas on how to improve the quality? FYI this is a big file.

I saw a link in the open forum that will let you compress a file. Your setup did'nt seem to bad for me. but I'm on cable.

That video kicks some major arse. I clicked on both first one was a little slow but played perfect after I restarted it, second one was even better. Damn I love it when trikes rock quads worlds. If I owned one of them quads I think I would just sneak off and never be seen again. EMBARRESSING to the entire quad community. LOL

These files are big, so I know that some people do not have the bandwith to download them. I need to find out how to make the files smaller and find some storage space. I only get 25 megs from Comcast, and will need more if I'm going to post video to the site. Does anyone know how to reduce the size of the files or know of storage sites?

Speed Is Not An Issue For Me,I Have Cable Modem.
I Really Don't Know What It Is.
About Files...Have U Try " Windows Media Encoding "..U Could Really Shrink A File With That...If No Go To www.vcdhelp.com
Search for Encoding Tools

Yeah... they worked fine for me too on my cable modem. If you want I can compress them with DivX and see what size they come out.

Try right-clicking on the link and doing a "Save Target As" and save the video to your drive. Then it will just download like anything else off the net instead of trying to play in a seperate window.

Windows Media, give me a break.
Not everyone wants to pay MS to watch a movie.
MPG is usable by everyone.
Not everyone uses Windoes.
Like not everyone rides a quad.
I would expect better from a 3wheeler.

DivX rules! You can shrink a 7gb movie down to 650mb and make it look good.

Hi Guys
Thanks for the imput. I'm just learning how to do this whole video thing. I went to the DivX page and downloaded some software. I will need to work on this. 15MB files for 40 seconds of video are way too big. I have about 50 hours of video and have some good clips to add to my website. I've been learning a lot, but have a long way to go.
For now I will leave the clip on this thread and the 250sx thread. I will post new ones in a few days and see what everyone thinks of the video quality. It'll all be on the website eventually, but I have to get it all compressed before I do it.

If you've got 50 hrs of video you are going to have to ditch the dialup! :-D :D
