Actually I personally think the Z's look better when you take off the Air Scoops, and the front headlight. Gives it more of a "Naked" look and it looks more racy in my opinon.

I like that ebay Z. Except for the generic looking 250 stickers on the shrouds. I think number plates make the Z look allot meaner. I don't like them without the shrouds. It looks "incomplete".

Yes, mine is missing the chain in the bottom pic too! :D

(just put westcoast swingarm on and didn't have longer chain :( )

CT made a pipe and silencer for the tri-z? Where did you get the swingarm?

Jeb

Yes, the silencer is CT but thats a Bill's Pipe.

I bought the Swingarm from a guy out in California a couple years ago. That was the only one he had. It was NOS.

I never knew that Bills made a pipe for the tri-z (I have one on the Blaster though). Whats the power output? Bottom to mid? Mid to top? How hard is it to obtain one?

Yeah I'm not sure about exactly where the power increases are because I have no experience with a stock Z. The pipe was on it when I got it. I do know that has good lowend and comes alive in the midrange put it doesn't rev out. Its quick. I've also got the tank switch and UNI Pod Filter. I can only compare it to my 86 KXT with stock exhaust that doesn't have much lowend but you can rev it to the moon.

I've got the 18" tires which help to wind it out quick but I've also got a 14th front sprocket to help.

I don't know if Bill's mass produced this pipe. I'd say they did because the lower parts looked stamped but the top part is welded cones. Most everyone made pipes for these back in the day just like they do for the sport atvs of today. These 2 stroke 3 wheelers were the "ones" back in the day.

It would probably be tough to find a bills pipe for a Z. maybe contact Bill's and ask????
