Damn that sucks! Mine was making some noise but I didn't even tear it down, I just bought another engine. I just got it running again yesterday.

Hey Dave, Thanks for keeping an eye out for me. I talked with your Mech the other day, he said he was going to check the head out for me to see if it is in spec. I have a stock cylinder and piston to use right now and if that head checks out then I'll probably buy it (if the price is right) instead of sending my now damaged cylinder in to the shop for the big boar. Let me know when you do find it.

DAMM i had had a 460 big bore stroker do that on nos but it also punched 3 windows in the cases too !! i think the only thing i was able to save was the cam shaft !! there's a brand new motor on here for 350 i'd be jumpimg all over if i were you .. sorry but good luck gettin her fixed back up ..

This motor had a couple upgrades. Nothing to big but it ran great. I do have a spare stock motor thats in pieces that will be going in when I get some time off. I was going to use it for a big bore project, but things have changed a little now... The only thing is at the moment I only have 1 good head, but that might change in the next few weeks.
