i am having trouble breaking the gasket seal around the crank area. the rear of the casing broke free but the crank area is still not breaking free. i have been tapping it with a leather mallot and nothing, next step is i guess is to make a puller where the stator goes and hope nothing gets messed up , if so it looks like another t3 will be put to rest.

Make 100% sure all the bolts are out. It might also be binding up on a locating dowel pin. I have seen that before.
