hello!

just started a thread for my atc 70

I picked up a frame that was sold to me for an 85 and finally it was an 82.

this wasnt my problem, the problem was that it was bended...

well i'm still learning about 70's myself. although i noticed nothing being said about the motor, you can pick up a lifan cheap and it's almost a straight bolt-in from my understanding. plus side with lifan is you have a few choices with the type of starting (kick, pull or elec start) and there's manual or auto clutch. if you do go lifan (or similar) get the motor complete with wire harness and electrical parts. it will make it much easier to do the swap. like i said this is what i have read and been told, i've not done this myself yet. you can go 50-110cc no problems (maybe even 125), bigger than that you get into length issues with the front fender, tire and support on the front half if it is a big motor.

Ask any questions you have. Someone on this site will have an answer. Have fun with both your 70 builds. The little ones become very addictive.

made some progress

i dont know if i should paint the hubs at the same color with the rear axle spacers or let it like this

i thought i had one front wheel axle but i dont have and now i will have to wait 2 week to have one....

I also wait the seat pan, seat foam and seat cover to come.

I cant find anything here so everything comes from the USA.

even the brake pads....

while I'm waiting parts to come will have to fix the gas tank as its a little bended on the up behind the gas cap.

put the brake and the handlebars. Now we wait for the engine and the seat.

IMO either leave the hubs black or go with the Honda silver.

dang that's looking better everytime. keep it up. :beer
