View Full Version : Tri-z cylinder sleeve..

Anybody do sleeving and race port matching on the fourm at a decent price?? I have a tri-z cylinder that needs sleeved and has the #2 wrench report competed on it,,, make a long story short it was at 69.50mm and the head gasket failed while in storage or went bad last time I rode it and put away, anyway the water and antifreeze set on top of the piston and in the cylinder for six months and ate the hell out of the sleeve,,, took it down too have it bored too a 70mm but the pitting was just too much too save.. la sleeve wants a leg just too match the ports and then the other leg plus a arm for the rest. lol

I don't know if anyone here does that, but if not you might call Kustom Kraft for a quote. I've seen new sleeves on ebay for around $80.00. Good luck.

You might consider getting another cylinder that needs honing or boring.

I have a cylinder on a 2nd over , but then would need somebody too do the port work on that one.

NW sleeve is @ $375 for everything. And there sleeves are hard so theIy hold up. They do the best job of any I have seen or used.

Is that with the extra port matching? Will have too check in with them, much appreciated ...

That's for a custom sleeve made, installed, port matched and bored. They do excellent work I wont use anyone else Im sending a cylinder I just roughed in the ports for a Lt250r big bore end of the week or next.

Dam Iceracer your right on the money! Contacted them today an they were right at 350, awesome and thanks a bunch!
