how many watts do i have?

im looking to upgrade the light on the trike as the stocker is broken but i dont want to over tax the supply as i dont have a battery

so how many watts can i draw before i drop the voltage below a sugested rate for the coil?

Most of the older trikes, have just enough wattage to run the factory head and tail lamps. There are aftermarket high output stators available though.

going by a manual i have for your trike it calls for 45/45 watt headlight bulb. the tail light is a 5 watt.
i would recomend to stay in the recomended wattage with your replacement headlight cuz if you go increasing the wattage it just very well be dimmer.
if you where to use a smaller wattage bulb,,, it would be brighter but not last very long.
try a halogen bulb in the rated wattage rather then the stock bulb.
i think you'll be impressed with the difference.
