I like how he says the dents in the tank doesn't affect how it starts or rides. They would have to be pretty good sized dents to affect the starting or riding of it LOL. If you dont buy that you are a fool.

Honestly, I haven't called about it and driven to Dallas (3hrs 1 way) to pick it up because I'm conflicted.
On one hand, a fully suspended 185s is totally cool. I had one in the 80s I bought new and eventually built up. I eventually replaced it with a 300R.
On the other hand, I already have an 85R, 2 84 200x, an 83 ATC70, and an 85 350x project and no room in the garage. All are actually better trikes except for the cool/nostalgia factor. Something would have to sit outside in the weather. And, actually, after riding the R, there's a possiblitiy the little X's get sold in the future when the 350x is done.
However, this trike has been on CL for a while (at least a month). It might be had for less than $400. Must resist must resist must resist. Should I buy a $400 classic ATC or the camera my wife wants for Chrsitmas...

I actually received an email from the party on CL and sent me two pics of the motor and I must say it certainly is clean in that respect. I am looking for a slightly different of frame. I would say that this trike has an weld on swinger which is still good. I've personally had a couple of 185s trikes in that configuration and they ride very well.
