So does anyone know of a better price on a Lifan 140 combo kit that is cheaper than the one on ebay for $388 with free shipping? I am looking to buy one real soon. and dont want to spend too much so I can buy other goodies.

Try PCCmotors.com. I couldnt find anyone cheaper. Nice kits. Lifan motors.

The problem with the Lifan 140 is the odd stroke size and piston pin size, I had one in my 70 for quite some time, your upgrade options are pretty slim. DrATV has a rev cam, AHP has a 150 big bore to fit it otherwise theres not much out there for the 140. I will say that the motor is a tank and really reliable. I switched up to one of the KLX headed 150's and there is a ton of options for more oomph. Just my .02 cents

Yup it is going in the 70. I bought it form partsnlotsmore because he had 816 transactions and 100%feedback. I stretched the frame 3" with the help of Steve0196 and his lathe. If it weren't for him I would have been out in the garage for God only knows how long with an angle grinder getting the extension piece to fit in the frame tube. I went with the manual model because I lined the idea of the 1 down 3 up gear pattern. I also ordered all new bearings today. Going to sand blast some of the crappy old paint off and clean it up some for a temporary spray bomb finish till it is all together and working then tear it back apart for powder coat once I decide on the colors I want to go with.
