OK after searching the internet and then finding out that the local motorcycle shop could actually get it cheaper I ordered a clutch cable for my KLT 200. Because of all the trikes, this is the one I take my little one's on and subsequently-ride the most lately.
Good deal-like 12 bucks and it's here in 2 days. Run down to the dealership-pick it up-run home-hmmmm-somethings not right-the cable looks shorter. So I call the dealership up get the guy on the phone, get told it's the right cable-well it ain't. -I'm no mechanic but I took his word for it-hooked it up and it's short enough where I can't turn the handlebars. AND-they won't take it back because it's been opened and installed. Does anyone here in their infinite wisdom know where I can get or what part number clutch cable will fit a KLT200. I believe it is a 1981 or 82 because it has the kick start option. Thanks for any help and sorry for the rant!>Chris
