Picked up these couple turds this morning, first gen and an 83. The first gen is pretty complete, supposedly needs a coil. I think these will b mostly 4 parts but I may geta wild hair 2 get the first gen rideable. Enjoy

Does the first generation turn over? Looks like it might be worth spending the time on. Good score!!!

Yeah, they both turn over. The 1st gen has some work out swinger bushings and a loose possibly stripped rear hub, brakes don't work, seat pan is pretty well rotted away, tires r pretty weather checked including the one hardly ran ohtsu h trak on the right side (lol), the h trak still has the painted stiping on the face of the tire..... however, the tank is very clean save 4 a few dents, frame appears 2 be straight and crack free, suspension cycles through like it should even tho it sits way up n the air, feels like I'm on a big red, has what appears 2 be an aftermarket silencer on it and an otherwise clean mostly complete bike.
The 83 is basically an engine, frame, tank, swinger and forks but it all appears 2 be in decent shape asside from the dented up tank.
I may part the 83 eventually and drag the first gen n the shop and try 2 make a rider out of it, couldn't let these things wind up at the crusher!
Thanks

Good save. If I was you I would get the first gen going and after that see what to do with the 83. Maybe you will run into another for cheap and turn 2 into a good one!

I could sure use that swing arm skid plate from the '83 for my restoration project. How much you asking?

That is an amazing deal. I'd buy that all day everyday.

Hell, there's enough there on either of them to start making a daily rider! (Spoken like a man who can't get his hand on one)(and really wants one)
