I'm currently in the process of a frame off rebuild of my '85 250r. Gettin it ready for ice season. The needle bearings, seals and endcaps for the swinger bolt are junk. Anyone use the plastic bushings to replace the needle bearings? I found these and am considering buying them.

They look a lot like the ones x-system makes (or used to make.. haven't seen him around??). I had some on my 200x and they were great

They seem like a good idea. Kinda maintenance free. When I pulled the swinger there were rusty needles from the bearing falling everywhere.

Ouch! I have 4 sets of them here, but they cost me $30 a set. Good price, and really good upgrade.

I run those in my 350x and my 250r.. I got the ones for my X from x-system and have been running them a year now with no problems.. I got the ones for my r from Billy Golightly and they are really nice and the fit is perfect.... I would contact him and see if he has some for sale.
