Does anyone know where I can get my hands on some stainless steel exhaust studs? I can't seem to find them anywhere.
I don't mind using OEM replacememnt...but I would just prefer the stainless ones. I require 6x32

Thanks.

Anyone know what length stud the Honda 125 head requires? I broke one off the other day and I haven't pulled either out yet. Thanks.

Double check your thread pitch too.
I THINK you need 6x1.00 but there is also 6 by 1.25 and might be mixed in the wrong bin.
Not something we need help screwing up. Best to double check a few times.

and may be a good idea to wipe some antisieze into the threads.
It will roll right off unless you rub it right into the threads IF that's even a good idea.

I hate exhaust studs, but got my first real job by drilling one out in front of the boss years ago.

Best to do it right.
They MAY be different lengths so best to check them both.
I mean, the holes may be different depths.

I JUST bolted the headpipe back on a 125 the other day but can't remember exactly.
I do remember the 'plate' that holds the pipe to the head was quite thick and don't forget the
washer thickness you want to use.
I found some elongated brass nuts that completely cover all the exposed threads.
(slight obsession)

Go to any auto parts store, I got mine from advance auto, the "help" section, same studs as an accord or civic(well 350x that is).

I just did 2 on a 200x, they came out a bit long, so I double nut-ed them to cover the threads, and hell yea, I used silver anti seize on the stud install, and the nut install

Were you able to use studs you can turn in with a hex wrench?

I used an e torx bit to install them but a 12 pt socket or wrench will do the job

I would prefer studs I can wrench in as opposed to double nutting them in. I couldn't find the thread you were talking about. Did you have a link for Advance Auto page for the studs you used?
