I see this 400ex "conversion" to a 350x on ebay and was wondering if anyone has made a more successful conversion of a 4 wheeler to a trike. This appears to be a good attempt at a decent conversion but it seems a little lacking. I know this has been brought up before I have the 400ex in mind specifically.

Thats still on ebay? haha.
Thats an okay job, needs some work to make it more reliable and right.
the tpc450s are nice, but a lower budget 400ex conversion would be awesome.

Where is the oil cooler tank?

Check on the picture of the axle, the oil tank is under the seat beside the airbox. On the first picture you can see the oil line going to the rear

Its not as easy as some would think to do a conversion, after doing my 450 I realized how much work and money it takes to do a conversion and do it right. They main thing that is going to kill most people doing a conversion is the front end. From what I understand Jason has pretty much stopped making triples ,85sx forks are hard to come by anyhow, so forks would need to be shortened most-likely if used from a full size bike. Then there is the issue of making the tank match up with the rear fenders and making it all flow together. With a dirt bike conversion you have all of these details, and also have to make a swingarm that works. With a fourwheeler conversion you have to build your own whole front have of the bike from scratch. Personally if you want a new age bike the TPC is the only way to go. I have rode it and its a very well build and a dream to ride, but it is pricey.
