Hey...i wanted to know if anyone has a Boyesen Rad Valve installed on their ATC 250r....i have a 1983 R and can get one for $120.00...please tell me, was it hard to install? did it make a big performance difference? thankz for the help!!!!

I run one that was for a 2000cr250. The intake had to be opened up to accept it and I use a spacer.

AS a stand alone mod, i think you will be disapointed ,, as a enhancer to other mods it will help,,, if you are all stock ,,a pipe will be a better choice,, to start out with,,, if you are going to feed the engine more air it has to be able to utilize it properly,,,

I have the rad valve on my 01 cr125R... it made a differance and Im looking for one for my
ATC250R.. if its like my 125... It makes the bike more "snappy-er".. it required a weird jetting aswell... almost like it conflicts with the pipe... the pipe (pro circuit) was required to be jetted up.... the rad valve required it to be jetted down... it was some f-in' around to get it right but well worth it in the end.
