I just bought a new set of Douglas .190 rims for the rear of my 250SX. What I didn't consider is the center thickness. Not much thread left on the wheel bolts. Has anyone had and resolved this problem? The left side OEM ones are 10mm x 29mm and the right side are 10mm x 33mm. If I could get...say, 38mm, that would probably do the trick. Any ideas?

I cant remember if the SX had the automotive style tapered lug nuts like the X's and the R's. If the Douglas wheels stud holes arent countersunk for tapered lugnuts, and your lugnuts are tapered automotve style, you could flip them upside-down and see how it works.....

85 is flat style, 86-87 is tapered.

Yep, they're flat on mine, and the Douglas rims are flat too. There's really no other option but to get a longer bolt.

Ok, got it solved. Went to my local Honda dealer and they looked it up. It turns out the 86-87 machines have a 36mm bolt, which should be long enough. He was also kind enough to point out that I should be able to take the ones off the right side (which are already long enough at 33mm) and put them on the left, so I only had to buy 4 for the right side.
