Deer hunting is right around the corner, and the BR will be giving free one way rides to deer again this year! But no one like to beat their meat, (down a trail being drug by the BR) so this year I built the MeatWagon for hauling the venison out... 48"L x 32"W... Special thankyou to Whitetail Hunter here on the forum for the custom lathe work, to turn a set of 300ex spindles into trailer spindles (to weld into the tube) Running 400 ex wheels and tires ad hubs... (gotta build it with Honda parts!)134090134091134092 And coincidentaly, the 70 fits on there like a glove!!

very nice, some trailers they sell for wheelers are super spendy and poor quality. plus it will take a beating! honda! its a little off subject but how do you like those hand gaurds on the wheeler? im thinking of getting a pair for mine seeing how i get welts on my hand from sticks. great idea using atv tires.

Hopefully next weekend there will be pics of it hauling out the veni-- Rifle opener here in MN is Nov. 5th

Like the handguards alot, but they took alot of massaging to make them fit... They are bark busters

You sure that was coincidence the 70 fits like that????? Looks great. I just finished a bigred "Lowboy" to haul broken down snowmobiles and large heavy items. It is about 6" off the ground. Only going from garage to garage though. Can't wait to se the big buck on there. No luck yet here.....been bowhunting last 2 weeks.

I think it's like a law when you sell any trike you have to put a set of trail pros on it. lol

love the trailer I have one made out of a OLD honda car axle tires, and coil springs, it works great for hauling rock, fire wood, and email deer but I usually just dragem out.

No picture, but a car hood works great in the snow.
The older style with a 'keel' down the middle is best.

Pretty noisy on pavement however.

Beautiful job, btw.
Now the 70 wants to go too.
If you leave it home it may try to follow you.

so? 180 grain at how many feet per second is the choice of young professionals?

Have a great time!

Nice lookin' wagon you built there Thorpe! I built one very similar several years ago, and I use it all the time.

I want to see a pic of a 12 point layin' on it!!

150 grain, 3250 fps...

Where we hunt, its private land, and they ask us to tread as light as possible... So thats the reason for the trailer. Its also not uncommon to run into the woods and pull 2 deer out at a time, and I hate to get them all dirty, and drag them back 2 miles... Thing is super light weight, breaks down to be only 2" thick (except for wheels and tires) and would haul 4-500 pounds pretty easy I think...

Nice trailer man. I saved a rear axle assembly off a 185s to build a trailer around, but haven't gotten to it yet. Now I'm thinking I like your design better.

Some guy sold me a 350x parts bike with trail pros on it. They dont get me far in mud at all...and they look dumb...the only reason i have them on there is because they were free and they are 22". I have a set of 22 roundies off a 250ex that i am going to air down to 2 psi and test tippyness. Maybe 1.5 psi. Already am 5 inches wider! Anything to get those trail pros off of there!
