I sold my restored 350X a few months ago. I kept some of the NOS parts I installed on it, and some of the nicer original parts to build another. So I decided last thursday to search craigslist for any 86 parts I could find. Long and behold two 86's for a decent price, within 25 minutes of me. So I called the guy went down to look and was amazed. My friend and I struck a deal, he took one and I took the other. I was shocked, I've seen my share of beat up 350X's aroun d here, and I've never seen any 86 models this clean. Theres hardly any wear on the frame or engine!

The one I got on the deal has sat for 10 ta 15 years. It was stolen from the gentleman back in the day. He parked it when he got it back, he said second gear was gone, and let her sit. I cant seem to tell anything wrong with it. At the time when he parked it parts were stil readily availiable from honda. He installed a New front tire and a new front fender!!! It has a clean title which is unheard of in my kneck of the woods. It had everything bone stock Except the handlebars, and the headlight was a bit rough. Needless to say when I got it home I put stockers on it, with my NOS kill switch& NOS Headlight. The carb & thumb throttle were completly locked up. It took my 3 hours just to get the gas tank cleaned out, and get the carb functioning.

Heres some pics from when I got it home. I'm going to detail it now, then I'll post more pics!

Yea Yea!! Sorry I've been feeling like crap the last few days. I spent maybe two dollars washing it, and put the few parts I mentioned on it...lots more detailing to do. We gave 2200 for the pair. I took mine for 1200, and he took his for 1K. Both run and ride now.

While I was in the shop I figured I'd snap a pick of my 85. Picked it up [pretty reasonably last winter, it also is 100% stock.

I think it is. Original title. Hell the kick starter feels just as good as the two new ones i have here. If you could see it up close. I don't think it has more than 60 hours on it. With some love and detail work it could be a very collectible machine. We've all seen clean 86's go WAY high on ebay...

I think 1200 is a steal! I paid 1200 for mine, not near as nice...
