i bought a old honda 70cc for 50$! wen i got it it had a makeshift toolbox attached to the front with a car battery inside working the light nd a make shift trailer hitch on the back lol but did not start.

after flushing the tank out of the exstreamly dirty gas nd cleaning the carb and some rewiring to get spark it starts! unfortunatly i can only get it to idle. it idles fine nd i can drive it in first gear going slow but soon as i give it more throttle it bogs out nd i can barely get up to second gear. any ideas? ive played with the adjustments on the side of the carb nd cleaned the jets inside.i dont know wat else to do

The car battery may have been used to help keep the front wheel on the ground when a trailer is on the hitch. Id like to see a picture or two. Could be a number of things not letting it start. Give us a little more info on it and someone will be able to steer you in the right direction.
